Conservative talk show host Dennis Prager has announced a temporary leave from his nationally syndicated radio program due to a recent medical setback. On Wednesday, Prager revealed that he had been hospitalized in Los Angeles after suffering a serious back injury caused by a fall on Tuesday. 



The incident was confirmed by PragerU, the online conservative media organization he co-founded in 2011, which shared an update on social media. PragerU's statement read, “Dennis Prager suffered a serious back injury following a fall… he’s resting in a local Los Angeles hospital as doctors assess treatment options.” The post also requested prayers from supporters as Prager begins his recovery process.


In his absence, The Dennis Prager Show, which broadcasts daily from noon to 2 PM ET, has been hosted by a lineup of guest hosts. On Tuesday, Jennifer Horn stepped in to cover the show, followed by Mark Davis from Dallas’s ‘660 AM The Answer’ on Wednesday. Davis informed listeners that Bob Frantz and Carl Jackson would be filling in for the rest of the week. 

Prager’s program, a fixture of conservative radio for years, is part of the Salem Media Group and reaches a broad audience, particularly through Los Angeles’s KRLA station, a conservative Christian radio platform. Listeners and supporters have expressed their concern and well-wishes across social media, sending thoughts for a swift recovery.
