It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Amanda Faith Vergel in Daytona Beach, Florida, who left this world on November 4, 2024, at the age of 18. 

Her untimely departure has left an indelible mark on the hearts of those who knew her, and her family and friends are left to grieve the loss of a vibrant young woman with a bright future ahead of her.

Amanda Faith Vergel was a light in the lives of many, and though her time with us was brief, her impact will endure in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Amanda's passing has left a profound void in the lives of her family, who were her unwavering support system. She is survived by her devoted parents, Loida Vergel (Vega) and Nardy Vergel, who lovingly raised her with care and affection. 

She will also be deeply missed by her siblings, Vince and Ryan Vergel, who shared her childhood and stood beside her in both joyous and challenging times. Amanda's grandparents, Esmeraldo Vergel and Luisita Vega, also mourn the loss of their cherished granddaughter. 

Their hearts are heavy, but they take comfort in the love and joy Amanda brought to their lives. In addition to her immediate family, Amanda is survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends, all of whom were touched by her warmth, kindness, and infectious spirit.

Amanda was not just a daughter, sister, and granddaughter, but a friend to many. Her personality was one that drew others in, and her ability to make those around her feel seen and valued was a gift she shared freely. 

Whether through her laughter, her kindness, or her willingness to listen, Amanda had a way of making everyone feel important. Those who were fortunate enough to know her will carry with them the light of her presence, a reminder of the love and joy she brought into the world.

A visitation was held on Saturday, November 9, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Lohman Funeral Home, located at 733 W Granada Blvd in Ormond Beach, Florida. 

This time allowed family and friends to come together, offering their support and sharing in the collective grief of losing someone so young and full of potential. 

At noon on the same day, a funeral service was held at Lohman Funeral Home, where loved ones gathered to celebrate Amanda's life and bid her a final farewell. The service was a testament to the profound impact she had on those around her, filled with heartfelt tributes and moments of reflection on her legacy.

As we continue to mourn Amanda's passing, we find strength in the knowledge that her memory will never fade. Each person who was blessed to have known her will carry a piece of her with them. 

In the days, months, and years to come, her loved ones will continue to remember her with love, honoring the life she lived and the joy she brought into the world. Though her physical presence is no longer with us, Amanda’s spirit lives on in the hearts of all who loved her.
