Adrian Bice Columbus NE Death, Obituary: Columbus High senior wrestler Adrian Bice Passed Away at 20

Adrian C. Bice, a beloved son, friend, and athlete, passed away on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at the age of 20. Adrian's untimely death has left a profound void in the hearts of those who knew him, but his legacy will continue to be remembered through the impact he made during his short life.

Adrian was born on July 13, 2004, in Omaha, Nebraska, and later moved to Columbus, where he spent much of his life. Growing up in Columbus, he quickly became known for his vibrant personality, his sense of humor, and his passion for sports.

Adrian’s journey through life was marked by his love for wrestling, where he truly shone. He attended Columbus High School, where he not only excelled academically but also athletically. His dedication to wrestling was evident as he earned varsity letters all four years of high school.

His senior year, Adrian achieved the pinnacle of success, becoming a state champion wrestler, a remarkable achievement that highlighted his hard work, discipline, and perseverance.

Beyond his athletic prowess, Adrian was also known for his fun-loving and lighthearted nature. He had a knack for being a practical jokester, always ready with a mischievous smile and a good-natured prank.

His playful spirit was one of his most endearing qualities, and it made him a beloved figure among his family and friends. Adrian had an infectious sense of humor that could brighten anyone's day, and his friends will always remember him for the laughter and joy he brought to their lives.

Outside of wrestling and joking around, Adrian had a deep love for nature and the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, often spending hours by the water, relaxing and reflecting on life. His time spent in nature was a source of peace and solace for him, a time to recharge and connect with the world around him.

Adrian also cherished the time spent with his family and friends, valuing the close relationships he built with those he loved. Whether it was fishing trips, family gatherings, or hanging out with his friends, Adrian was happiest when he was surrounded by the people who mattered most to him.

One of Adrian’s other great loves was his truck. A symbol of his independence and his connection to the world around him, his truck was an extension of his personality—strong, reliable, and full of life.

It was something he took pride in, whether it was a tool for adventure or just a way to get from one place to another. His dog, too, was a cherished companion, adding another layer of joy to his everyday life.

A memorial service for Adrian will be held on Friday, November 22, at 10:30 AM, at Gass Haney Funeral Home, with Pastor Randy Longacre officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 21, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and again on Friday morning from 9:30 AM until the service time.

The family has requested that memorials be directed to their wishes, which will help honor Adrian’s memory in a way that reflects his life and spirit.

Though Adrian’s life was tragically cut short, his influence, laughter, and love will forever remain in the hearts of those who were lucky enough to know him. He will be deeply missed but always remembered for his incredible spirit and the joy he brought to those around him.
