The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) is conducting a detailed investigation into a tragic single-vehicle crash that occurred early in the morning in South Riding, Virginia.
The incident took place around 12:30 a.m. near the intersection of Loudoun County Parkway and Tall Cedars Parkway. Responding deputies discovered a 2023 Ford Mustang involved in a devastating crash on eastbound Tall Cedars Parkway.
The crash resulted in the deaths of two individuals and left two others injured. Authorities confirmed that all four occupants of the vehicle were male. The driver of the vehicle, identified as 30-year-old Bijay Tamang of Aldie, Virginia, has been arrested and charged with involuntary manslaughter.
He is currently being held at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center without bond. The LCSO believes alcohol was a contributing factor in the crash, although the specific details surrounding the events leading up to the collision are still under investigation.
Deputies are working to determine the full circumstances, and additional charges against Tamang may be filed as the investigation progresses.
